Trama
Le Hawaii non sono
esattamente il paradiso in terra che tutti crediamo: almeno non lo sono più per uno dei
suoi abitanti, Matt
King. Sua moglie Elizabeth ha appena avuto un incidente che l'ha gettata in coma, e non
si riprenderà più.
Non resta che staccare le macchine che la tengono ancora in vita. Da anni troppo
concentrato sul suo lavoro, l'uomo
si ritrova con due figlie che ormai non conosce più, la più grande delle
quali, Alexandra, è sulla via
della ribellione più spinta. Il dolore di Matt per la tragedia subita si
trasforma in frustrazione quando scopre
che sua moglie aveva una relazione extraconiugale, e stava per
chiedere il divorzio. Il marito tradito e disperato
si lancia allora alla ricerca dell'amante della sua
sfortunata consorte…
